Business challenge
Before entering the Canadian market, Chinese manufacturers often need to validate product demand, target customers, pricing, positioning and market acceptance.
Traditional e-commerce systems are designed primarily for transactions. Early market validation instead needs lower-cost ways to gather prospective customer feedback, compare product concepts and turn findings into traceable research evidence.
Proposed solution and implementation
Inspelis is developing a Canada-focused product validation platform on an open-source foundation. Planned capabilities include product tests, experiments comparing offers and messaging, interest-event tracking, multilingual research pages and surveys. The research mode is designed to remain separate from real commerce transactions, so businesses can test product and market demand before committing to sales channels, inventory and logistics.
Technical architecture
Independent Inspelis research modules extend a preserved source-code baseline while minimizing changes to the original commerce core. The current technology stack includes ThinkPHP, Vue, UniApp, MySQL and Redis, with a dedicated research data model, research-event API and pending-message mechanism.
Interface development covers Simplified Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Arabic, including right-to-left layout needs for Arabic.
Completed development work
As of October 9, 2026, the following development work has been recorded:
- Recorded a traceable CRMEB source-code baseline and technical architecture.
- Implemented independent research modules and research-project administration.
- Established product-test mappings, SKU research snapshots and experiment configuration management.
- Developed a research-event ingestion API, durable storage and pending integration records.
- Implemented landing-page views and explicit language-switch tracking at the public research entry point.
- Added explicit consent, anonymous identifiers, event deduplication, rate-limit responses and failure retries.
- Codex reports document unit, browser and backend tests, as well as build verification.
Next development stage
Planned next steps include public product-test pages, product comparison, saved interests, waitlists, surveys and a complete evidence-validation flow.
Formal transfer of data to systems such as n8n and further business analysis remain future work.
Potential business applications
The aim is a customizable, traceable early-demand validation tool for small and medium-sized manufacturers considering the Canadian market.
The system could be adapted to different industries, product categories, languages and business workflows to support market research, product positioning and future business decisions.
Project note
This is an Inspelis in-house research and open-source adaptation project. It does not indicate completed client delivery, a live commercial deployment or verified market outcomes.
Underlying open-source project: Official CRMEB GitHub.
Further development milestones, technical demonstrations and validation results will be published after verification.
